For this exercise we were told to create 10 different faces using this proportion method(I had time to draw an 11th)
This exercise was to have us draw heads looking in different directions and different angles, all of these were drawn second hand from pictures found on the internet.
This final exercise was to draw someones portrait from a first hand perspective to practice our proportion practice as well as adding detail
This is a developed version of one of the heads with a backstory.

Sinix painting practice
This lesson I have created a number of faces and attempted to use the colouring method of Sinix, an online artist, to give them a European/African skin tone, taking into consideration the light and bouncing light(light reflected off of other surfaces). The theme was to try and adapt Sinix's art style to use ourselves, using software like Photoshop to experiment with different colouring styles, which I think Photoshop is very useful for. This technique made my design look unique though it could have been more effective if I had blended the colours together more effectively, and if I could do something differently I would definitely blend the colours more thoroughly.
My work on the African skin tone turned out much more blended and all around better than my European skin tone colouring because I added more details, such as skin details, eyes and more visible light. However I still feel that I could blend the colours together better.

Self portrait
So far in my project I have drawn an outline and done rough colouring around the face and clothes area.
